Day trip to Lazy Boy. No signs of recent avalanches. Lots of old avalanches (Size 2 to 3) on Ottoman all the way to the bottom of Lazy Boy on north and south aspects. Seemed to have stepped down to the persistent slab. Crown / start zone on ridge crest (wind slabs?) and thin rocky spots. Good spring melt freeze at treeline, not there yet in the alpine.
