Full gamut of conditions. Combination of wind swept rollers to powder pockets and crusty tracked slopes in between. Stability was great. Didn't do a column but couldn't find much in terms of crusts. Faceted snow at lower elevations (< 2000m I think). In the south facing bowl the snow was redistributed nicely which made for nice skiing. At the moraines the wind had shaped the landscape and it was crusty to boilerplate level in places. The north facing slope past the pass was tracked and hard with soft pockets which made me wish I had my resort gear with me. Then I might have a better chance of linking turns. Wait for another storm to re-cover this slope.
