30cm fresh snow overnight on 23rd on top of 1cm thick breakable rain crust. Riding was good from 1400m and enough snow to not to feel the crust too much. At 1650m NW aspect at Treeline, HS 260cm. CTM2 down 30 on the rain crust (resistant). Continued with compression test and got CTH2 down 60 on another crust - this was a much cleaner 'pop'.
