Saw lots of shooting cracks and triggered a few sz 0.5 soft slabs heading up the ridge to Nicki’s and promptly turned around. The slab was failing 10-30cm deep around the interface with the new storm snow and wind deposited snow. These slabs were not observed to be widespread but were found only on specific terrain features eg. steeper (35 degree +) and convex rolls.
