Had a great day skiing up MacDonalds west shoulder. We dug two pits during the day one at 1900 and one at 2300. Snow pack depth was 120cm. Both ect’s were high 20s with no propagation. Failure was about 30cm down in the new snow layer. The sun crust below this layer was very variable in thickness and whether it even existed with small aspect changes
