Ten Mile Fiord, Gros Morne

10-30cm of new snow sitting on our most recent rain crust. Good bonding at interface. The snow had a bit more moisture in it today. Good snowball snow, but sticky on the snowboard. We found reactive wind slabs on both the North, and South side of the valley, with scooting cracks letting us know of there presence. Strong winds aloft, but not a whole lot of snow on the move due to the high moisture content in the new snow. Hand Shear test we’re showing a reactive 10cm slab, over lower density snow. 1 finger snow density, over 4 finger. No new avalanches we’re observed in this valley today.
