Windy Point looked well covered at the top, snow cover rapidly diminished to patchy near road. Dug a quick roadside pit at Railroad Banks these are west facing below treeline banks. HS 60cm. 1cm crust over 20cms of (F)facets. Lower 39cm of (4F to 1F) rounding faceted grains. Irregular ice layer up to 2cm thick at the ground. ECTX. As you travel to the south, most areas are patchy or burned out completely. North-facing La Manga Banks HS 15-30cm, Same 1cm crust sits over 15-30 cm of 2mm+ depth hoar. Camp Slide appears to have the most continuous coverage. Did not get HS.
