Snowpack
Above treeline terrain is wind hammered and scoured. The lee slopes that are holding snow mostly seem to have avalanched in the previous storms, but have reloaded with a fresh but stubborn wind slab. Whumpfing in the willows was the only sign of instability observed at this elevation band. Near treeline, rolling collapses can still be found on an all aspects but south.
