Report came in from member of the public who was getting out of their car at the Crowfoot Glacier viewpoint. They heard a large avalanche and then heard screams for help. Banff Visitor Safety was called and mobilized a response, but was stood down enroute. Two skiers had been skinning up the fan below a couloir lookers left of the Crowfoot moraines when a large avalanche (likely loose dry) came from steep, rocky terrain above them. It impacted the slope they were on and took them for a ride, fully burying one and partially burying the second. The skier who was fully buried was only shallow and was able to extricate himself. Both skiers self-evacuated with minor injuries.
