Weather

Obscured skies, S-1/S1 on/off throughout the day, blowing snow, predominently N/NW winds, gusts pushing 30mph at most elevations, 5" HN overnight (higher density), mild temps in the mid-upper 20's.

Snowpack

Widespread collapsing on northern and southern aspects. Minor cracking in new snow, primarily on northern terrain. Hand-shear clean (protected areas), 15 and 30cm down on preserved surface hoar, north aspects, 9400'. 6-18" windslab formation, at and above treeline, N through SE aspects.

Avalanche

SS-ASu-R1-D1-S, NE aspect, 9400', ~20' x 30', ~12-18", windslab; SS-ASc-R1-D1-S, SE aspect, 9400', ~20'x40', ~6", windslab.
