Weather

Broken skies most of the day. Moderate winds out of the SW all day, lots of wind transported snow at 9600ft. Snow devils were very frequent. Temps were above freezing at the summit.

Snowpack

HS= ~130cms. East facing pit had numerous sun crusts. We did see a some failures at the basal facet interface in our pits. Two CTs failed at the facet interface in the medium and hard range, down 85cms in one pit and down 100cms in second pit. Another CT failed in the medium range down 20cms, looked to be the remnants of the storm slab problem. A single ECT was ECTX. Shovel shear on the unfailed ECT again broke at the basal facets.
