Mostly cloudy, moderate SW winds with moderate blowing snow near ridge tops
Snowpack
Up to 1m of mostly weak snow with only minimal and very localized cracking and collapsing. There is a weak (4F hard) mid-pack "slab" overlying 30cm of large depth hoar, but it was unreactive to snowpack tests. We punched right though it when we stepped off our skis. We also found large (2-5mm) surface hoar on the snow surface and a well-preserved layer of buried surface hoar 30cm below the surface in open glades near treeline.
