Blue bird day. Weather leading up to this event is what is notable. Just not a great year for our snowpack.

Snowpack

2 to 3 foot Persistent slab resting on facets near the ground. Some areas above tree line seemed safer due to winds removing snow. This pocket area at tree line had a larger and more consistent slab build up with some wind accumulation evident.

Avalanche

Persistent slab ripped to the ground.
