Snowpack
Where I was traveling, the snowpack was between 45 and 80 cm deep. The recent snow is F hard at the top and 4F hard toward the old snow. The upper part of the new snow appears to transition to FC slowly. Recent avalanche activity ATL, NE-E aspect indicates recent instability. I did not notice obvious signs of instability at B & N TL N-E-S aspect. ECTs on NE and SE aspects near the flanks and crown on the avalanches were ECTNs.
Avalanche
I saw the two avalanches at ~11,200 (crown) spanning from the NE to the E aspect. These avalanches seemed to run naturally during the wind event from the night of 11/29/2024 to the morning of 12/1/2024.
