Weather
Increasing clouds around 6 pm. Became overcast with some clearing around 8 pm. Got some nice alpin glow for the descent around 8:30. Tad breezy but less then expected
Snowpack
Surprisingly good cream corn. Most of the Recent snow had melted, sublimated or? Below 12,000 ft it was back to the old hard deck. New snow (Estimated 3-5”) from Thursday night and Friday had mostly vanished by Saturday evening.
Avalanche
There was a possible/probably human triggered slide out of 4th of July Bowl on Peak 10 today/Saturday. NE aspect above TL. Not too wide...20 ft maybe? Ran around 100-150 vertical. No other details. Noticed it while driving to our ski line this evening. Expect it was just the recent snow. I’ll try to get a picture tomorrow morning.
