Snowpack
Variable snow height, especially above treeline, HS between 20cm and 70cm. Dug in two locations, one near treeline (~11,000', NNE) and one above treeline (~11,500', NNE). Both pits showed fist-hard facets at ground with 1-finger slab above. Column tested consistently showed sudden results at interface between slab and basal facets at both locations, 20-25cm above ground. (CT16 SC, and ECTP16 at 11,500'; CT19 SC and ECTP14 at 11,000'). Wind slabs were found below ridgelines but we could not produce any propagation along our route.
