Weather
Partly cloudy in the early AM then splitter. Light SW winds for a brief period. Rapidly rising temps above freezing by 11 am
Snowpack
East to SE facing slope. Corn on the surface only! Good freeze over night with zero ski pen before 10 am. Above 11,500’ the MFcr is only 6-10 cms thick. Just enough to be supportive. Dry snow below, but in thin or rocky areas it’s moist to wet below and set up for wet slab potential. BTL has thicker MFcr but still a mixed bag of facets, moist and dry snow. This snowpack BTL will be spooky wet with the heatwave.
