Light snow showers off and on, no wind despite forecast except for occasional gust. Broken sky at times.
Snowpack
2-4+’ variable depth between east and southerly aspects between 11250 and 11750. Snow density is variable, with dense snow on top of cold smoke for the most part. Collapsing occurrd on existing skin track on the boulevard. Snowpack is more reactive compared to sunday when we covered the same ground.
Avalanche
Slab release on a convex roll. Skier 1 tracked above roll. Splitter 1 dropped slightly below skier 1’s tracks and triggered slab release. Slab moved 2-3’ before stopping. aspect was ese at 11299 ft (caltopo photo)z
