Snowpit results from 2380m on WNW aspect with 30 degree slope. Sky was partly cloud, Air temp -4C Total Depth 1.65 m. with 20 cm storm snow. This new snow was bonding well with adjacent layer. Did a Column Compression Test and no layers responded after 30. (CTN) Prying the column with shovel eventually persuaded the column to let go on basal facets.
