Heavy winds all day from the NW were pushing snow around and cross loading many slopes in the area

Avalanche

We were skinning out and observed a fairly large avalanche across the valley that had run previously. I approached the side and did a quick beacon search with no result. Crown appeared to be 1 foot tall. Slide path included many trees to be strained through. It appears they came down from above and their weight probably helped trigger it from above. There was a track coming out. Met a party of two in the parking lot that skied lookers right of it, they said the track was a day old, so it probably happened 11/25
