Winds were light throughout the trip, air temp at 10,000' was 23 F with scattered cloud coverage, mostly farther to the south

Snowpack

Total snow height at 10,000' was 26" on NE aspect. Observed significant collapse and watched the crack propagate about 30 feet. The snowpack in this area consisted of a 20" 4F to 1F (hardness increasing with depth) slab, sitting on 6" of 2 mm depth hoar. The crack initiated on the depth hoar layer and with further inspection was able to propagate around several terrain features
