Pictured is the steepest North gully from the east side of Hoosier Pass, below Hoosier Ridge, heading north. The drainage below is actually called Cornice Creek. It slides often, but this is bigger than usual. I doubt it traveled very far since it is only about 200 feet of steepness before it hits the creek which is relatively flat. But not 100 percent sure. Maybe 300 feet? I could see a third of the way down the creek and couldn't see debris. Looks like it went a couple days ago? The last pic is an old one skinning up Cornice Creek with the pitch that slid above his head... I also saw two more on the drive home. They are adjacent to the mellower gladed terrain folks ski from Quandary into McCullough Gulch. Northeast. 400 feet long, 100 feet across...You can see them from Skiers Edge. They do slide frequently and we have triggered them remotely a couple times. So not too surprising but not often both will go together and also looks like the persisent slab deal since they went to the rock...sorry no pics.
