Hot and windy
Snowpack
NTL and ATL on N-NE aspects had a sun crust on top of ~10cm of dry snow. E-SE aspects at all elevations resembled a uniform snowpack. We did find a very isolated 8” wind slab on a NE aspect at 12.2k ft. Stubborn results in hand shear test.
Avalanche
Driving out we saw two point releases on the SE face of iron mountain that likely occurred yesterday.
