Broken thin clouds slowly trended towards sunny skies. Temps were in the low 20's at 11,000 ft. Calm to Light winds.
Snowpack
Deep snowpack at 220cm on a NW aspect at 11,000 ft near the Swamp Angel weather station. About 12cm of new snow sitting on top of a right-side up snow pack. CT29 SDN that failed about 45cm down on some sort of dust layer. Foot pen: 24cm. Ski pen: 12cm.
Avalanche
Broke in Senator Beck Basin at 11,600ft on a ESE aspect. SS-N-R1-D1-I Most likely storm snow that broke on old sun-crusted snow.
