Weather

We were up high from 11k to 13k. The wind wasn't too bad and actually calm at times. In sheltered basins it was pretty hot. There was some snow blowing at ridgetop but again just building cornice and not loading slopes.

Snowpack

No signs of instability except for some small rollerballs and very small Loose Wet avalanches out of steep, easterly, rocky areas. Open slopes were slightly moist on sunny slopes but no indications of any wet avalanche problems. Shady slopes were a mix of hard wind slabs and, in places, a few inches of wind drifted snow over hard surfaces.
