Beautiful sunny day with light winds and low-hanging clouds.

Avalanche

We documented the most significant, notable avalanches visible from CR 124. Many more slides likely ran throughout the canyon across all aspects and elevations. Smaller slides likely failed within the recent storm snow. Larger slides appeared to step down to the 2/14 interface, and isolated places broke deeper near the ground. Wide propagation was the common theme of visible crowns. The majority of avalanches ran full path. Numerous slides crossed the river and ran uphill on the opposite side of the river.
