Weather

Mild and breezy. Day started cloudy, cleared, then the cloud progression of next storm rolled in.

Snowpack

Mild temps encouraged rapid settlement at lower elevations, while strong and gusty SW winds continued loading alpine slopes. Strengthening sun triggered some harmless point releases in the new snow from steep rocky terrain. Major avalanche cycle from the heavy wallop of snow/wind last night into this early morning. Storm totals ranged from 13"-25" favoring south side of the zone.

Avalanche

Widespread avalanche cycle ran overnight on the 14th/15th. Slides noted on virtually all aspects and elevations, many running to the ground and several repeat offenders (slides that have run multiple times this season).
