Weather
Clear and warm day. Still a bit of snow to move around. Winds were stronger in the morning but calmed down by mid day.
Snowpack
Snowpack is gaining strength and getting deeper nera and above treeline. Deeper weak layers are becoming less reactive. snowpack tests on east and southeast-facing slopes showed few results except just below the freshly drifted snow. Easterly-facing areas below cornices and near ridgelines are still very windloaded. Open near treeline areas have evidence of wind-loading as well. Areas below treeline are mostly composed of facets or are very thin.
