Party of three traversing steep slope to north col from Highwood Pass (off Pocaterra Ridge). Wind loaded slope failed approx size 1.5: 10cm deep & 30m wide at crown, 125m run. One person partially buried: both legs and one arm. Longer run would have been a full burial. Key party failing was complacency - familiar slope, moderate avi bulletin, already skied similar angle/elevation slope (though different aspect) that day. Good early season reminder.
