Avalanche

Multiple deep loose dry avalanches were triggered below treeline on northerly aspects on descent. Above treeline, stability greatly depended on what the new snow is sitting on. More Southerly slopes had generally shallow snowpack with a firm slab sitting on slick crusts. The colder aspects were a bit less cohesive on the surface and unreactive to skier triggers.
