Mt Field

Skied Mt Field area today. Used the short cut route and though it was somewhat meandering, it did seem to save a bit of time. Toured up to 2360m and turned around due to fog and steady snowfall (0.5-1cm/hr). Winds were light but starting gusting to moderate around 1pm. Ski pen was about 20cm, nice quality powder. Probed 3m+ at 2360m and 180cm at 1480m. Ski cut a size 0.5 on a large convexity below treeline at around 1800m.
