South Klondike Corridor

Flew highway corridor today. No natural activity and everything appearing stable. Many large cornices on Northeast aspects like this one in the picture that is hanging above the highway. Snow profile at 1350 m in tree line showed a relatively uniform snowpack with an increasing amount of well-developed facets and surface hoar. December rain crust at 30 cm was very weak and facetting(?) out.
