Skied northeast facing terrain between 2200m and 1650m in the Elgood area of the Rossland Range. 15cm of new snow over lying the Feb 1st layer. Jan 17th layer down 35cm with well preserved surface hoar to 15mm in sheltered north facing glades at 1800m producing Easy sudden shears. No signs of instability. Height of snow in the 175cm range at TL.
