Quite warm down low: melty and pin wheeling below around 1300m. Snow bombs rained down continually from the trees throughout the day. Snow was heavy up to maybe 1500m. Above 1700m we found really good skiing in the McGill Main Chutes. The only place where we found the storm slab to be reactive was mid-mountain (treeline elevation) where the crust below this week's storm snow was more pronounced. CAUTION as you travel (up or down) through those elevation bands where avalanche problems may change.
