Chose conservative terrain below ridgeline at TL/BTL. Skied low-angle trees. Snow was heavy, progressively heavier as we approach valley bottom w increasing temps. Informal hand-shear test @ 1900m on NNE aspect produced planar fracture, down 40cm on variable interface.
