Hard a very large and loud whumph and settlement at the crux of the moraines on the Peyto Hut approach. Very wind affected. Backed down and went 200m climbers right and ascended a slope w trees until we could hike up on rocks to avoid the slope. That tree ridge also had the SH layer down 20cm and was very easy to slide in hand shears but was manageable in trees
