Feathers Flying on The Ravens

Surprisingly good skiing! We observed a size .5 slab avalanche triggered by a skier in another party. No one was caught. Occurred just above the last bench where the pitch of the slope steepens toward the top of the Ravens, and in the first bowl to looker’s right of the trees running up the lefthand side. The same spot had run recently. Today’s small slide involved the 5-10 cms that had built up on that bed surface. We avoided the steeper zone and focused on vigorously double ejecting lower down.
