Small skier triggered wind slab at entry to one of the chutes on a steep convex roll. Winds were gusting into strong throughout the day with stiffening observed between laps. Small pocket that released entrained loose snow within chute and picked up a surprising amount of mass before coming to a stop 10-20 meters above the lake.
