North aspects 2000m up to ~1700/1650 well preserved powder ~15cm. Southern and eastern aspects baked in the sun. Pin wheeling observed on those aspects. No other instabilities noted. -7C leaving the car @ 8am, strong solar throughout the day (spring skinning) until ~2pm when the clouds rolled in. Skied the trees below the glacier. Icy up track in the trees, unpleasant skinning but made for fast descent. Boot packed elephant trunk.
