Today in the bijoux riding area we noticed a few wind slab debris from the last few days on north east facing slopes on high alpine ridges. The day was cold with strong winds in the afternoon. In our snow pit we had a winds lab layer that was reactive in the moderate range (CTM11-12) 30cm down. We dug our pit on a 22 degree slope on a easy facing aspect in the 1500m range.
