-21c at Fraser -10c on the glacier. The inversion continues! At treeline, in sheltered areas 10cm low density snow overlies a breakable crust. 10cm-40cm boot pen where the wind crust was breaking down. In the Alpine, variable surface and heavily wind affected. "Break-a-ski sastrugi." On the glacier, powder in areas protected from the wind. (see pic) Sz 1.5 - 2 loose wet avalanches on rocky steep south (solar) aspects. (see pics) Easy and fast travel today.
