North Facing Elgood

Had a surprising result Saturday with an AST 1 class on a north facing aspect. While performing a column test and after removing the top 60 cm, we had a sudden failure on a wind facet layer 120 cm down. Then with an extended-column test on this layer - after removing the top 60 cm again, it resulted in a complete ECTP on the 120cm wind facet layer ~ Jan wind event. You can see in the picture showing the wind debris and facets on this layer.
