Skiied Mnt Matier, Anniversary Glacier and the south shoulder of Vantage Peak. Generally there was solid stability and glaciers were in good condition with decent coverage. However, the E, SE and NE aspects in the alpine had a punchy sun crust. Additionally, small size 1 Na point releases were observed on rocky features as the temp increased throughout the day. There was evidence of older size 1-1.5 avalanches on steep convex slopes on N and NW aspects (maybe from the past 48hrs?). In terms of weather, the skies were clear and there were light winds coming from the N and NW, no snow transport was observed. The skiing was dreamy, with 15-20 cm of unconsolidated snow on the top of a decently well-consolidated snowpack.
