Lazy boy

Below treeline until 1700m was crusty however the alpine had mixed conditions with opportunities to ski powder. Powder was consolidated but I wouldn’t consider it heavy, and it seemed to break off easily when I made a few turns on a short steep slope. We observed remnants of a wet loose avalanche before the lake that ran out across the skin track from a north facing slope. Around 2000m coverage became thinner with exposed rock, so we decided not to top out on the ridge
