Dug a pit at 1980m on an sparsely trees open slope, NW aspect. CT failed on 28 at 75cm down on what we assumed to be a surface hose layer from the last cold snap. Stuck to more densely treed slopes. Riding quality was amazing! No signs of recent avalanches.
