Slab went on final approach to ridge while on skin up. Roughly 40-50cm thick and slid along consistent weak layer. Lower layer was firm to touch, with sugar/hoars on surface. Crown propagated roughly 30-35 meters, occurred on NE face, ~45 deg slope. Hand shear pits in adjacent mellower terrain performed directly before had not shown this issue. Skier was not dragged in slide.
