No signs of instability on Surprise Pass descent, just icy/wind blasted crusty hard pack snow. Not too many sharks, some poking out easy to spot and avoid. Signs of old avalanche debris in the SE facing bowl west of Fairview Mtn on the approach. Small thin wind crust on approach; Terrible skiing conditions but fun day out. Rapid warming on the sunny aspects by 12PM
