Skied Paget Peak on January 11th. Started at 0900 and was -4 degrees at the car. Skin track up Sherbrooke Paget fork was in, but we broke trail up to the fire lookout and up until 2200. Alpine was windswept with many sharks, but treeline and below probed a minimum of 120cm with ~20cm or more fresh snow. The wind was light all day with constant light snow. Cloud cover was variable, with sparse blue sky at times or completely socked in. Other groups reported Sherbrooke lake crossing was a little wet but manageable. There was no observed instability throughout the day, with supportive and cohesive snow ontop of ~5cms of facets at the base. On the way out, there were three downed trees across the skin track and one spooky creek crossing.
