Nice weather.... for ducks.

A warm wet whiteout of a day with some signs of instability thrown in for good measure. Temps hovered around 0c at 1500m. It was raining in the valley and the rain / snow divide was ~1250m. Above 1250m, snow was falling but surfaces were moist. Visibility was limited and at times it was hard to tell which way was up. When visibility did improve, within ten minutes the sun warmed slopes quickly producing pinwheeling and snowballing out of steep rocky south east faces. With a combo of no visibility, rain and signs of instability we modified our trip plan and skied the slush down to the valley.
