Wawa Ridge (Sunshine)

New weather system came in to bring in some new snow. Light to strong winds today, overcast with flat light, but still decent visibility most of the day. Ridges are hard packed, and rock exposed on west faces. Snow loading on east faces. Cornices on east faces are not overhanging, but getting big. Wawa gully had great snow today ~20cm deep where people haven’t been skiing. We left in a blizzard, so filling in during the afternoon. No signs of snow instability all day. We saw one avalanche down a north facing avalanche shoot just below the upper parking lot (south side of road) that went quite long and likely occurred in the last week.
